| This is a commissioned portrait done from photograph. The portrait was began before meeting the gentleman and after working on it for several weeks, I had the the pleasure of meeting him in person. I was so pleased to see him, because it certainly gave me a more secure grasp of his personality and I could judge the distortions in the photograph that could be improved in the painting. The painting was well received by the family and that is always a feel good moment. |
